Sean's Kingmaker Campaign

Second and Third Session
For the Childrens...
We awoke to a fresh morning. I could still smell the dew in the air and taste last night’s stew in the back of my throat. Hopefully, the party will continue to grow in peace and friendship as our quest continues. We must create a new land that is safe for all the childrens of the world._______ A few days have passed in exploration. I have accomplished many great feats of wrestling strength to honor the ways of the mask. This woman who travels with us, I am not so sure she can be trusted. I believe she bewitched Jacques and has sent him down a darker path. I must pray for him in the night watches.________ Oft, I sit here and write by starlight. The others sleep, but I stay vigilante. I think of the monastery. The warm, clean halls; the chipping plaster, the smell of frijoles refritos being served in the mess hall, the childrens…(the ink here is obscured by what look to be small drops of water)… Ah, how I miss it all. But I must be strong. This is for the honor of the mask. This is for the childrens.______ This land is wide. Soon we hope to rid it of the bandit threat. I have seen this evil that lurks within mens’ hearts. The corruption of the cities seemed to choke out purity and life. Our hallowed walls were a bastion and sanctuary for the lost and the innocent, yet we could not save them all. I could not save them all… Today, we set out to make changes in this world. For the honor of the mask. For the childrens.

Additional Notes from the DM:

The four attending players took horses for themselves after the initial combat with the bandits; other players were not accounted for and do not have the free horse. The horses these players received is only a light riding horse and not an expensive commodity.

The party did not level during this session, so everyone is still first level. During our next session, it is highly likely that everyone will level up mid session.
